StencilGirl November Club Stencils

The piece below was created by using sections of all 3 sizes of stencils from November's StencilGirl  Nathalie Kalbach's Fragmented stencils.

Adhering the Navigation paper from Club Scrap to foam core created a 3 D space for the compass and burlap paper was added as a background.

Using Colorburts powder pigments on the stencils, they were applied with a watercolor brush on watercolor paper. The layers of colors were achieved using gel medium.  The Navigation paper was torn to expose the stenciled watercolor paper.

The Mica pieces were sprayed with Ranger Mica Distress Ink over the stencil and then outlines with a black fine point sharpie pen.
