Thank you so much for visiting my blog during the Spring Chorus Collection Blog Hop, it is such an honor to be part of the blog hop again.
This time I created two scrapbook pages with recently found photos of my son and daughter. These photos were up at work to remind me of the reasons why I was working and then packed away in a box when I left that job. They are so precious to me and perfect for the Spring Chorus papers, yup these are not digital layouts, but paper! Here is a closer look of my daughter's, which has one of her high School senior picture's as the focal point of the layout.
See below for more details
Here are some of the highlights, little crystals added on the flower, white ink on the dark green paper, distressed edges, plus double mounting of her photo, white and then light blue photo mats.
I really loved the name plate, the felt flowers and brads!
A crystal was added as the bird's eye which makes a wonderful triangle of crystals when looking at the whole page.
Next is my son's page, which has a variety of pictures
The 1-2-3 stickers really reflect how fast time went by as he grew up. I left the white around the picture in the upper right hand corner, the photo of him when he was youngest deliberately, to show the typical photo style from long ago, when it was taken.
The "Smile with me" sentiment was perfect and really reflected his childhood to me. Again the edges of the paper were distressed. The light brown fiber was perfect for a more boyish layout.
His name plate coordinates with his sister's and the only element used that did not arrive in a pizza box this month are the two brads used to attach the name plate; everything else was from Club Scrap.
I do not plan to put these two layouts in an album, but rather to hang them up on the wall. To provide a study support, some chipboard received from Club scrap in shipping, will be cut down from 12 by 12 to 11 3/4 by 11 3/4 inches. It will be attached the back with some Club Scrap glue and they will be good to go!

Beautiful layouts, Cathy! So glad they are going to be hung on a wall rather then put into an album - they deserve a place of honor in your home!

Cathy, just love how you created the layouts using the distressed paper edges and gave each one a unique twist based on the kids. Everything is just perfect in every inch of the details. Well done!
