Thanks for visiting my blog during the Club Scrap Blog Hop this month, the collection, Oopsie Daisy invited lots of creativity for me this month.
Here is a link and picture of the Oopsie Daisy Collection
I will try and remember to point out what was included in the kit so you can see how I used the wonderful pieces as well as make over 25 cards and have even more I can still use for more creations.
I have been in a real mixed media, playing with stencils, kind of place ,and my post totally reflects this. Starting with a 12 by 12 canvas, I started adding layers of acrylic paints, ink sprays and glazes over stencils and papers. I did not gesso the canvas first, but I could've. The big daisy in the top left, extending over the canvas was created using the daisy mask supplied in this month's collection. I have a special illustrated encyclopedia from a friend which I traced the mask from and made sure I did not cover the woman's face too heavily with my paints. I used a baby wipe to remove fsome paints when needed. The daisy ribbon was included in the collection as well. Here is a closer look at her
The guy and gal were cut from the collections papers. Here is a closer look at the them, the woman's purse is from my stash.
Next are the letters used in Create and Art, each are different colors based on the inks applied, the letters and were included in the collection as well.
The brown and copper daisies were cut from paper in the collection.
A little bow for a bit of whimsy
I am not sure if you noticed but there is a 3rd image of a person in the lower right corner, a "ghost" image.
Here is a closer look:
