Thank you so much for joining me on the Club Scrap Picnic Blog Hop. Hopefully you arrived from Kay's Keepsake's Blog or from Club Scrap Creates Blog , click on either link to see what they have created as well.
This month's Picnic kit contained many bright and fun papers. It is also the month Maya Angelou passed and I thought when I saw this bird cage hanging, in the grocery store, I might be able to create something with it to remember her by.
I read the book I Know Why the Cage Bird Sings many years ago, during my young teen and impressionable years. The memory of the book inspired me to design many unique birds using diecuts and a stencil, hanging them with fibers and ribbons on the outside of the cage, where they are bright and free.

Earlier in the month, I also made several cards from the Greetings to Go pack and stamps included in the kit.
Thanks again for stopping by and the next stop on bright and fun creative journey (blog hop) is Anne Hunter who I am sure has something special to show us as well.
